🔒 Arming & Disarming {#arm-disarm}

Arming Modes

🏠 Arm Home (Stay Mode)
  • Perimeter zones active
  • Interior zones bypassed
  • Free movement inside
  • Best for: When you're home
🏢 Arm Away
  • All zones active
  • Full protection enabled
  • Exit delay provided
  • Best for: Leaving property
🛏️ Arm Night
  • Perimeter active
  • Selected interior zones active
  • Bedroom areas bypassed
  • Best for: Overnight protection

How to Arm

Single Area:
  1. Open connected device
  2. Locate area card
  3. Tap desired arm button
  4. Confirm if prompted
  5. Exit within delay period
All Areas:
  1. Connected view → MORE
  2. Select Arm All
  3. System arms all ready areas
  4. Check status indicators

How to Disarm

Single Area:
  1. Tap the lock icon on armed area
  2. Enter code if required
  3. Area disarms immediately
All Areas:
  1. MORE → Disarm All
  2. Confirms all areas safe
  3. Instant disarm

Entry/Exit Delays

  • Exit Delay: 45-60 seconds (configurable)
  • Entry Delay: 30-45 seconds (configurable)
  • Audio countdown on keypads
  • Mobile shows timer

🎯 Zone Management {#zones}

Zone Types

Instant Zones
  • Trigger immediately when armed
  • No entry delay
  • Used for: Windows, balconies
Delay Zones
  • Allow entry time
  • Must disarm within delay
  • Used for: Entry doors
24-Hour Zones
  • Always active
  • Trigger even when disarmed
  • Used for: Panic buttons, fire
Follower Zones
  • Activate after entry zone
  • Provide interior coverage
  • Used for: Hallways, passages

Zone Status Indicators

Color Status Meaning
🟢 Green Clear Zone secure, no activity
🔵 Blue Bypassed Zone disabled temporarily
🔴 Red Violated Zone triggered/open
🟠 Orange Restored Was violated, now clear

Managing Zones

View All Zones:
  1. Tap grid icon (⋮⋮⋮)
  2. Heatmap shows all zones
  3. Filter by status/area
  4. Click for details
Edit Zone Info:
  1. Swipe right on zone
  2. Select "Edit Zone"
  3. Update:
    • Zone name
    • Location description
    • Alert messages
  4. Save changes

🚨 Panic Features {#panic}

Panic Types

🔕 Silent Panic
  • No audible alarm
  • Discreet alert to monitoring
  • Armed response dispatched
  • Use when: Threat present
🏥 Medical Panic
  • Medical response priority
  • Ambulance dispatched
  • Opens property access
  • Use when: Medical emergency
🔥 Fire Panic
  • Fire department alert
  • All areas disarm
  • Evacuation signal
  • Use when: Fire detected

Activating Panic

From Home Screen:
  1. Enable silent panic in settings
  2. Panic button appears on home
  3. Quick 3-second press
From Device:
  1. Swipe device tile → Panic
  2. Or Connected view → PANIC
  3. Select panic type
  4. Hold center 3 seconds
From Any Screen:
  • Hardware panic buttons
  • Always active
  • Works offline

After Panic Activation

  1. Signal sent immediately
  2. WhatsApp opens automatically
  3. Location pre-filled
  4. Send to emergency contact
  5. Armed response dispatched

  • Test monthly (test mode)

🔄 Bypassing Zones {#bypass}

What is Bypassing?

Temporarily disable specific zones while keeping others active.

When to Bypass

  • Faulty sensor
  • Maintenance work
  • Leaving window open
  • Pet in secured area
  • Temporary access needed

How to Bypass

Method 1: Zone List
  1. Expand area card
  2. Find zone to bypass
  3. Toggle switch OFF
  4. Zone turns blue
Method 2: Heatmap
  1. Switch to heatmap view
  2. Tap zone tile
  3. Select "Bypass"
  4. Confirm action
Method 3: Quick Swipe
  1. In zone list
  2. Swipe right on zone
  3. Quick bypass toggle

Bypass Rules

  • ⚠️ Reduces security
  • 🔄 Resets on disarm (usually)
  • 📝 Logged in history
  • 🚫 Some zones cannot bypass
  • ⏱️ May have time limits

Managing Bypassed Zones

View All Bypassed:
  1. Heatmap view
  2. Filter → "Bypassed"
  3. Shows blue zones only
Clear All Bypasses:
  1. Disarm area
  2. Re-arm without bypass
  3. Or manually unbypass each
Bypass Notifications:
  • Alert when zones bypassed
  • Reminder on arming
  • Status in notifications
